TU Film & Arts Festival: Reversing the Mississippi

February 11, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

A visionary inventor has created a technology that could change the world, but is struggling to inspire his rag tag crew when he meets a charismatic and rebellious teacher from New Orleans who challenges him to become a true leader.

REVERSING THE MISSISSIPPI is a documentary about a genius technologist and a rebel educator, two pioneers from opposite spectra with one goal in common: build a sustainable community.

The Tulane University Film & Arts Festival (TUFAF) is an annual festival that celebrates the story. Through presentations of film, art, and food, TUFAF hopes to demonstrate just how powerful a good story can be.

The festival is free for all attendees and it is also free to submit.

Newcomb Art Museum is a sponsor of the 2016 festival.
