DESCRIPTION:A visionary inventor has created a technology that could change the world\, but is struggling to inspire his rag tag crew when he meets a charismatic and rebellious teacher from New Orleans who challenges him to become a true leader. \nREVERSING THE MISSISSIPPI is a documentary about a genius technologist and a rebel educator\, two pioneers from opposite spectra with one goal in common: build a sustainable community. \nThe Tulane University Film & Arts Festival (TUFAF) is an annual festival that celebrates the story. Through presentations of film\, art\, and food\, TUFAF hopes to demonstrate just how powerful a good story can be. \nThe festival is free for all attendees and it is also free to submit. \nNewcomb Art Museum is a sponsor of the 2016 festival.
