Join us for a screening of “Mexico City” from season 8 of PBS’ award-winning broadcast series Art21 with a special welcome from Carlos Ponce, Consul of Mexico, New Orleans.

The episode will explore how Natalia Almada, Minerva Cuevas, Damián Ortega, and Pedro Reyes use the growing megalopolis as their canvas. The artists present everyday materials as artworks, mine recognizable images for their poetic potential, and take their art to the streets.
