“Episodes,” a dance theatre work offers atypical depictions of black womanhood from African American ancestry to single motherhood. Jarrell Hamilton native New Orleanian and two- time Big Easy Classical Arts Award winner, is the director and choreographer of “Episodes”, an original evening-length choreographic work. “Episodes” is part performance and part performance art installation. The art installation component will be presented December 2, 2017 (12 Noon to 3 PM) atNewcomb Art Museum and December 16, 2017 (TTBA) at the Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans. The performance work will be presented January 24-27 at 8 PM and January 28 at 2 PM at Tulane’s Studio 300, McWilliams Hall.
