Join the Newcomb Art Museum in celebrating Unfamiliar Again: Contemporary Women Abstractionists. The evening will begin with a public discussion in the Freeman Auditorium between museum director Monica Ramirez-Montagut and exhibition artists Amy Ellingson, Anne Vieux, and Brittany Nelson. Sculptor Dee Briggs, whose Three Rings 6’ Diameter is currently installed in the Newcomb Pottery Garden in front of the Woldenberg Art Center, will also join the conversation.
A reception will immediately follow in the Woodward Way Breezeway.
Both events are free and open to the public.
