Then drop by on the first Friday of each month for a guided tour highlighting our permanent collection of Newcomb Pottery, Tulane faculty and alumni art works! “Episodes,” a dance theatre work offers atypical depictions of black womanhood from African American ancestry to single motherhood. Artist Talk: Dee Briggs

Enjoy an artist lecture from sculptor Dee Briggs, whose sculpture "Three Rings 6' Diameter" is currently on display in front of the museum. About the sculpture: Made of corten steel, the twelve-foot-tall sculpture was engineered in 2015 by New York’s Knippers Helbig Advanced Engineering. It was previously installed in Foley Square at Thomas Paine Park in Lower Manhattan. About the sculptor: Dee Briggs was born in 1968 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. She received a Masters of Architecture degree from Yale University…
